Definition:
Vascular Plants are plants have special tissues or tubes to transport energy, minerals and water to parts of the body.
They have 2 types of tissues, or tubes: Xylem and Phloem
a) Xylem
Function: These tubes carries water and minerals from the roots to the plants.
They only travel upwards
b) Phloem
Function: These tubes carries sucrose in form of sugar from the leaves to all parts of the plants.
Phloem carries glucose to all direction
They carry sucrose, which is sugar made from glucose and fructose
# Sucrose can also be found in sugar cane
