Paolo Villanueva
Paolo Villanueva is a Creative Director, Developer, and Designer who seamlessly blends engineering, design, and art to create unique digital and physical experiences for spatial computing devices. With 21 years of experience, he holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ateneo. His background in Liberal Arts and Technology has led him to work on diverse projects, including the upcoming Vision Pro game "Tales of the Aswang," which explores Filipino mythology creatures and the evolution of their stories to the present day.
Currently, as the Creative Director at Heizenrader, Paolo leads innovative projects that integrate spatial computing, artificial intelligence, game simulations, and educational technology, transforming learning in the medical field through the EducationXR software platform for Vision Pro, Mac, iPad, iPhone, and other devices. His work impacts major institutions such as the CDC, Mass General Hospital, Siemens Healthineers, Edwards Lifesciences, Medtronic, and more, reflecting his dedication to meaningful technological advancements. Paolo is also focused on exploring accessibility in the spatial computing space, discovering the capabilities the Vision Pro has to offer, and storytelling.
Outside of work, Paolo enjoys playing music on the violin and piano, photography, hiking with his dog, exploring various cuisines, and mentoring aspiring creatives and developers.
Miguel Garcia Gonzalez is a supply chain professional by day and newbie spatial computing engineer by night. Having learned app development in a few short months, his work for Apple Vision Pro now includes the art history museum Museas and the astronomy education center Astronoma, both featured on the front page of the App Store.
He currently works at Spotify in data infrastructure procurement and holds a masters of applied science from MIT. Outside of these projects, Miguel enjoys learning (and partaking in) mixology, reading Isaac Asimov, and gaming Dark Souls🍸🤖⚔️
