Exam is used to assess a learner’s knowledge on specific skills or topics. Users can create exams, add questions, and configure settings from the Content Manager Dashboard. Exams can include multiple question pools, tags, and instructions, and only published exams will be available for activities.


1.1 Navigate to Exams

From the Content Manager Dashboard, Go to Library → Exams.
Click on Create New.

1.2 Provide Exam Details

Enter the exam name and select the skill from the active skills listed in the drop-down menu.

Click on Additional Information to provideTags, Quiz Instructions (max 2500 characters) ,Description (max 2000 characters)
Click on Upload Image (top section) to add an image for the quiz.
The Slug URL will auto-generate based on the exam name and cannot be directly edited. To modify it, update the exam name.
Click Save once details are filled.
To reset all additional settings back to default, click Reset to Default.

1.3 Add Questions (Pool-wise)

Under the Questions section, click New Pool to add multiple pools.
A pool represents a section of the exam, such as different technologies or categories.
Use the drop-down icon on a pool to:
Add questions
Edit the pool name
Delete the pool
To edit the pool name, click on the pool box directly.
To add questions, click +Question inside a pool:
All active questions will be displayed.
Search by name or question ID.
Select multiple questions at once and click Add.
After adding, you can:
Pick Random Questions → enable auto-selection by specifying the number of questions.
Stick Questions → keep specific questions fixed in the exam.
Don’t Evaluate Option → exclude certain questions from auto-evaluation.
Delete Questions → hover over a question and click the delete option.

1.4 Exam Configuration

By default, Global Exam Configuration is enabled.
If no changes are made, the exam will be published with default settings.
To customize:
Open Exam Configuration inside the quiz.

Adjust settings as needed.
Save changes.

Additional options:
Reset to Default → revert all exam settings.
View Changes (Read-only mode) → check modifications from the top-right corner.
You can save the exam as a Draft and edit anytime (both draft and published exams are editable).
To make the exam live, click Publish.
Only published exams will be available to add while creating an activity.

1.5 Exams Dashboard

Use the search bar to find exams by name.
User can customize the fields displayed on the dashboard:
Click the book icon on the top-right corner.
Select the fields you want to display or hide.
User also have the option to reset to default.
To edit or delete an exam, hover over the exam to view the action icons.

To activate or deactivate an exam, click on the exam’s status.
A confirmation popup will appear before applying the change.
