The Employee tab is used to manage employee onboarding, job profile assignment, invitations, and skill validation tracking within the platform. Employees can be added either manually or through bulk import and mapped to specific job profiles during the onboarding process.
Key Capabilities
The Employee tab enables users to:
Add employees manually or via Excel import Assign job profiles by mapping the Job Code Send invitations to employees Monitor learner invite status, iMocha invite status, and skill validation status Update employee skill data after skill validation completion Search Functionality
A search bar is available to quickly identify and locate employees using relevant details such as name, employee ID, or email address.
Employee Onboarding Methods
1. Import (Excel Upload)
Employees can be added in bulk using the Excel Import option. This method is recommended for onboarding multiple employees at once.
2. Add New (Manual Entry)
Employees can also be added individually by manually entering employee details and clicking on Import.
Mandatory Fields
While importing employees (either manually or via Excel), the following fields are mandatory and must be filled with accurate information:
Note: The Job Code is used to map the employee to a specific job profile.
Post-Import Status
After successful import, employees are listed on the dashboard with the following default statuses:
Learner Invite Status: Yet to Invite iMocha Invite Status: Yet to Invite Skill Validation Status: Pending Important: Importing an employee does not automatically invite the employee to the platform.
3. Send Invitation
To invite employees to the platform:
Select one or more employees from the list Click on the Send Invitation button Once invited, the skill validation test status will progress through the following states:
4. Update Skill Data
After an employee completes the skill validation test, the Update Skill Data action must be triggered to refresh and reflect the latest skill validation results in the system.
Note: Skill validation status is updated only after clicking Update Skill Data.
Access and Limitations
Employee data can be added and managed only through the Employee tab Skill validation results are not auto-synced and require manual update Invitation and skill validation are two separate actions
