The Competency View is your comprehensive performance summary dashboard. It acts as the final aggregation layer, combining technical proficiency, project execution, and examination results into a single "readiness" profile for every trainee.
Step 1: Accessing the Competency Summary
Navigation: Open the Quality Audit dashboard. Selection: Click on the Competency View tab. Initial View: You will see a list of trainees and their performance metrics categorized by different assessments/sessions. Step 2: Mapping Project Data
Unlike other views that sync automatically, the Competency View requires you to explicitly map project sessions to ensure the data aligns with specific curriculum milestones.
Action: Click the Map Projects button at the top right. Selection: In the Map Project Scores overlay, select from the available project sessions (e.g., Project 0, Project 1). Finalize: Click Map Project to push those specific practical scores into the competency table. Step 3: Configuring Skill Weightage
To ensure the "Overall" score accurately reflects your training priorities, you can adjust how different assessment types are weighted.
Action: Click the Settings/Gear icon to open the Skill Weightage overlay. Adjust Metrics: Set the percentage impact for: Quality Audit (%): Verbal/theoretical assessment weight. Practicals (%): Lab and coding challenge weight. Exam (%): Internal test weight. Project (%): Final deliverable weight. Save: Click Edit to update these values, ensuring the Total (%) equals 100 for each skill. Step 4: Evaluating Trainee Competency
Examine the synchronized table to identify holistic strengths and weaknesses.
Technical Sentiment: View the smiley-face icons under Technical Skills for a quick visual pulse on trainee confidence or performance. Unified Row Analysis: For any trainee, you can now see their Audit, Coding, Exam, and Project scores side-by-side to ensure balanced growth. Search: Use the search bar to isolate -al competency profiles for stakeholder reviews. Step 5: Final Review and Feedback
Batch Health: Check the Overall Technical Average in the footer to see the global competency score of the 300-member cohort. Qualitative Input: Use the Add overall feedback box at the bottom to document general batch trends or concerns. Action: Click Download Report to export this final competency matrix for placement or certification purposes.
