Basic Controls

1. What are Basic Controls?

A template may have many controls - such as colors, effects, and other elements it contains - which can clutter the user interface. Basic Controls solve this issue by placing the most impactful controls into a separate tab, so that the user may quickly adjust the crucial elements and complete their edit.
More detail oriented users will still have access to all available controls in the Advanced Controls tab.
Basic Controls should contain those options which have the most impact on the template's visuals.
For example, a toggle switching between Logo or Text, a dropdown to choose between shapes, any major VFX, etc.
Try to keep only crucial controls as Basic, or else they’ll loose most of their benefit.
Some controls are automatically added to Basic Controls:
Color clusters;
Fonts;
All controls which contain “Logo” as a part of their name;
Beat frequency range;
Spectrum Frequency Low;
Spectrum Frequency High;
Spectrum Frequency Boost;
Frequency Bands;
Band Thickness;
Timer;
Timeline.
To manually set a basic control, enter , select the control and then check the Basic checkbox.
