Week Two Reflection

This week was mostly spent on setting up a new fpv drone I recently got. I was able to get everything set up through beta flight and installed everything properly on the drone. But when it came to pairing the drone with the controller, nothing worked. It took me hours to figure it out. I paired other drones to the controller and disassembled my drone. In total, it took about six hours to realize I had simply not set the controller's band rate to match the drone.
In class, for AT 219 lab, we needed to set up a simulation software called SeligSim and learn how to fly fixed-wing aircraft. However, I had already installed it on my computer and had a little practice with fixed-wing flying before. Even though my real-life fixed-wing flying has rarely ended well, my sim practice has been going better, and it's nice to know that if you crash in the sim its no big deal, unlike in real life. it will be nice to be able to get better with my current flying skills.
