MIT REAP Strategy & Action

Introduction

In Workshop 3: MIT REAP Strategy & Action, MIT REAP Teams finalize their strategies and begin the exciting work of implementation. They focus on how to win their Must Win Battles (MWBs), as well as essential Must Win Stakeholder Engagements, Must Win Metrics & Evaluation, and funding considerations. Teams learn the key MIT REAP concept of the Backbone Organization, with which they can scale and sustain their MIT REAP strategies. Finally, they consider the fundamentals of Inclusive Innovation and social progress, today more important than ever in Innovation & Entrepreneurship acceleration.
Goals:
Finalize your Must Win Battle, Stakeholder Engagement & Communication, and Metrics & Evaluation
Determine the as-is state of your ecosystem’s necessary pre-conditions for MWB acceleration, including:
Influential champions
Adequate financial and human resources
Sense of urgency
Identify the type and scope of your Backbone Organization, from a broad mission to a focused project; and from broad stakeholder engagement to focused leadership
