What is the Suppliers Tab?

TraceGains Supplier Management aka Suppliers tab streamlines supplier qualification and sourcing by collecting and digitizing supplier documents, extracting the relevant data, and arranging it into performance dashboards and reports. Suppliers receive automatic alerts when documents are missing, incomplete, or about to expire, so everything stays up to date.

Navigating to the Suppliers Tab

Click on Suppliers on the top navigation bar:

Using Filters to Search

To improve your search, you can enter information in any column on the top row of the grid

Once the criteria has been entered in, either hit Enter on your keyboard or click on the Filter button on the top right corner.
Note: Certain filters have already been pre-loaded to give you a specific list of active manufacturing facilities.

Certification Group (Supplier Group)

Facilities are grouped by the following supplier groups for documentation requirements:
2 - GFSI: Global Food Safety Initiative Certified Facility
3 - GFSI AE: Global Food Safety Initiative Certified Facility that are required to report Quarterly Adverse Events
4 - Non-GFSI: A facility that is not certified to a GFSI benchmark scheme, predominantly manufactures non-foods. These facilities are required to have a third party audit, Good Manufacturing Practices, and established Quality Systems.
5 - Non-GFSI AE: A facility that is not certified to a GFSI benchmark scheme, predominantly manufactures non-foods that are required to report Quarterly Adverse Events. These facilities are required to have a third party audit, Good Manufacturing Practices, and established Quality Systems.


Certification/Audit Status

Statuses provided below are for GFSI Certificates and 3rd Party Audits:
Approved: Certificate/Audit is current and in good standing.
Expired: Certificate/Audit is expired within 40 days from expiration date.
Outstanding: Certificate/Audit is expired over 40 days from expiration date.
