Project Title: Empowering Knowledge Exploration with an Interactive 3D MindMap Interface
Project Overview:
This project aims to revolutionize knowledge representation and exploration by developing an innovative 3D mindmap interface that seamlessly integrates with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The proposed interface will enable users to create, visualize, and share dynamic knowledge graphs in a visually compelling and interactive manner. This groundbreaking platform will democratize knowledge sharing, fostering collaboration and accelerating the process of understanding complex topics.
Project Goals:
Empower users to create extendable knowledge graphs: The interface will provide intuitive tools for users to generate and modify knowledge graphs, enabling them to capture the intricate relationships between concepts.
Visualize topics with AI-powered insights: The system will leverage AI algorithms to analyze the knowledge graphs and generate insightful visualizations that reveal hidden patterns and connections.
Structure any topic or the entire internet: The interface will scale to handle a vast array of knowledge, capable of representing entire subjects or even the entirety of the internet.
Enhance understanding through interactive exploration: The 3D environment will allow users to navigate and interact with knowledge graphs in an intuitive and immersive manner, fostering deeper understanding.
Key Milestones:
Assessing feasibility of Wiki files on Great Data Upload FDS: This milestone will evaluate the technical feasibility of integrating large-scale knowledge datasets, such as Wikipedia, into the 3D mindmap interface.
Uploading KBpedia's high betweenness nodes: This milestone will focus on uploading a subset of KBpedia, specifically nodes with high betweenness centrality, to a cost-efficient storage solution integrated with the extendable p2p graph, Gun.eco.
Displaying the knowledge graph dataset with a Three.js library: This milestone will develop the 3D visualization capabilities of the interface using the Three.js library, enabling users to explore and interact with the knowledge graphs in a visually engaging manner.
Enabling users to add new graph elements and relations: This milestone will introduce user-centric features that allow users to create and modify knowledge graphs, adding new nodes, relationships, and annotations.
Allowing users to set publicity of their added nodes: This milestone will introduce privacy controls that enable users to determine the visibility of their contributions to the knowledge graph.
Facilitating debates via PSS/graffiti: This milestone will introduce discussion mechanisms within the 3D mindmap interface, allowing users to express their perspectives and engage in constructive debates.
