About the Role
Telebort is looking for a talented and dedicated individual to join our team to build educational software and platforms to further impact millions of young children in Malaysia. You will be working closely with a team of people to work on various assignment-based projects on the web and mobile applications.
You will play an important role in
Lead and monitor Junior Software Developers.
Write high-quality code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend and backend systems.
Code and implement RESTful APIs.
Develop dynamic and responsive web interfaces using React framework.
Developing reusable web components.
Write unit, functional and end-to-end tests.
Actively participate in code reviews.
Design, develop and maintain web applications, code documentation, and style guidelines.
Participate in Telebort’s core and on-demand programs and community events to understand the needs of stakeholders (e.g., parent, student, teacher, and learning center).
To be successful in this role, you will need to have
You have an excellent academic background in Computer Sciences/ Engineering or any other related fields. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with the entire web stack (frontend, backend, and database), and web performance optimization techniques.
You have working experience in building products that use one of the modern JavaScript frameworks such as
ReactJS,

Vue.js
⁠
,
AngularJS
⁠
, and
Node.JS
⁠
.
Experience designing Rest APIs.
Able to discuss and solve complex problems.
Picking things up quickly and always willing to share knowledge with others.
Being able to convey ideas clearly to team members from various backgrounds.
You can work well with multiple and challenging projects at one time.
You can work flexible hours.
Having the entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) environment.
