A recent Head of TA asked me to conduct TA Constraints and Acceleration Strategy Review on behalf of their Head of Data:
5 of 7 hubs had been closed leaving Austin, TX (primarily). Candidates had to be located at these offices due their return-to-office policy
Relocation assistance was restricted to Director+ level
Budget for candidates with Immigration Assistance had been removed
Average Time to Hire for SWE, Data and Product roles was 100-150 days for Senior+ roles.
Senior Leadership and HMs for Senior+ roles were becoming very frustrated.
