The important thing here is to take a step in some direction. It could turn out like me driving with my GPS and I make a wrong turn and I have to recalculate to get back on the right path. As long as you are moving forward and not allowing yourself to get stuck in the grieving phase, then you’re good.
Also, don’t fall into the trap of doing the next stupid thing. Rebound relationships are not wise. Likewise, starting a bad habit drinking, drugs, over-eating, etc. is also not wise.
