Reference Management

Below you will find the tools to manage, organize, and “publish” a basic citation page with APA formatting. First is the actual reference management table. Here you can enter your citations in the pop-up box. Please attend to the instructions within the pop-up to ensure you enter your correct data in the correct format. At this time you can only automatically format journal articles, books, and books with editors.
Whenever you want, you can hit the button to “publish” your citations in APA formatting. Please note that this tool will get you 95% of the way there—you will have to make some minor tweaks, such as proper indentation. If you need to delete a single citation, click on the far left of the row to highlight, and then hit “backspace” on your keyboard.
Your published references are automatically copied to your clipboard you can paste them anywhere you’d like. They’re also sent the the second table below. Simply click the “open” button to see your references. From there you may check them for accuracy. The “copy” button will copy your references to your clipboard, and the “update” button will allow you to refresh/update your citations should you have made further additions, subtractions, or edits. You can also easily delete your citations draft by clicking the associated red button.
There is a button/table to add selectable “topical tags” in order to better organize your research.
Finally, you can use the provided filters to easily search your citations. I’ve even provided a way to add topic tags (table in subpage) that will allow you to search by topic.
Enjoy!
