It’s a classic austin thing, nice bookstore with a coffee shop. I think they do events too if you’re a big reader

Nice little corner of nature downtown. They do all sorts of events at the ampitheater

North Austin

This place is totally a drug front I have never seen more than like 3 people in it. The food is great and the margs are strong

East 11th

Lovely breakfast place with a very austin vibe. Good food.

If you’re into arcades its a great place - the view of the river is beautiful too and they’ve got an outdoor patio for enjoying it

South Congress

Lots of small shops - its getting more gentrified these days but there are still some fun art shops and book stores

Good food and its a farmer’s market so you can get groceries and shit.

I haven’t actually been but I’ve been told its okay. They’re also about to remodel it supposedly!

East Cesar Chavez

My favorite nearby taco place, reasonably priced and delicious. They’ve gotten pretty popular so be wary of the lunch rush. No agua fresca though :(

South Austin

If you’re into oysters they got em and they’re very reasonably priced. They also have a milkshake that is the size of a small dog so bring a few people
