A helpful pre-flight checklist

Pre-Workshop

Get that date in the diary!
Send a briefing video using
Loom
⁠
that describes the session overview
Confirm if the session is in-person or remote (we don’t advise hybrid)
Send a Miro on-boarding exercise if people are new to the tool
Download the Miro template and familiarise yourself with the board and guides

Workshop

Open with a quick technical check to make sure people have the board and can see / hear
Use timers to keep on track (but don’t be afraid to adjust where needed)
If using Zoom, share your system audio (share screen > advanced) to share music if needed
Keep your facilitator guide handy

Post-Workshop

Export the board as a high-resolution PDF and share with participants
Capture a round-up of any actions
Share a thank you email with the PDF and action summary
Explain next steps (e.g. the Action Workshop)
