This section provides detailed information about configurations and NPSP settings relevant to Marketing. This is a quick reference for the Development Team and the Salesforce Administrator. Expand or Collapse each section for your reference


New Campaigns:

Main categories of campaigns were built based on the Revenue Sources found out during the discovery phase

Annual Fund - an existing campaign. Based on the marketing initiatives of Florida Hearing and Sight Alliance, created new sub-campaigns as child campaigns of Annual Fund campaign. Additionally, a Renewal Ask campaign was created in efforts of renewing donors who have donated in some year unfortunately not this year.

New Engagement Plan Templates

Capital Campaign Cultivation Engagement Template created. This is a 4 step process to cultivate new donor
Tasks include part of this Engagement Template:
Initial Task: Handwritten Thank you, Due date set to 2 days after task created date
Dependent Task 1: Email for an education webinar, Due date set to 14 days after task created date
Dependent Task 2: Invitation to Open House, Due date set to 7 days After task created date
Dependent Task 3: Email for Video Thank You Emailed from Board Member, Due Date set to 21 days after create date

New Email Alert and Email Templates:

Folders and Enhanced Sharing Settings for Lightning Email Templates in Setup has been toggled on. This allows organizing and managing templates efficiently, ensuring easy access for the right users.
New Email Template called as ‘Thank you letter’ created and saved in Public Email Templates Folder.
New Email Alert called as ‘Opportunity Acknowledgement Lightning’ created for the purpose of sending thank you email to the recipient ( primary contact) from the current user when the opportunity stage is set to ‘Closed Won’. This is linked to the Thank you letter Email Template

New Automations:

Flow Name: Acknowledgement for Closed Won Opps
Purpose: Automatically send a thank-you email to donors when the Opportunity is set to ‘Closed Won’.
Key Steps:
Trigger: When a new opportunity donation record is created or updated
Condition Check: Opportunity Stage is Closed Won
Action: Send a personalized thank-you email to the donor ( primary contact on the opportunity) using an email ‘Thank you letter’ template.
Update Opportunity Fields after Action:
npsp__Acknowledgment_Status__c : Set value to ‘Acknowledged’
npsp__Acknowledgment_Date__c: Set value to Current Date
Flow Name: Email Notification to Director when Donation greater than 1000
Purpose: Send an email to the Director of the Fundraising Team when a donor donates an amount greater than $1000
Key Steps:
Trigger: When a new opportunity donation record is created or updated
Condition: When Opportunity is closed won and amount is greater than $1000
Action: Send an email to the Director to let them the donor ( the primary contact on the opportunity) has sent a donation( opportunity amount)
