Schoolhouse’s coach team is the backbone behind our tutor training system, ensuring that all tutors get the support they need to build their tutoring skills. Coaches work within a specific subworld (e.g., in Algebra 1), helping tutors develop their peer feedback skills, coaching tutors who need deeper support, and setting up optional learning opportunities for tutors.

This dedicated team oversees all aspects of our social media presence, encompassing platforms ranging from Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Youtube, and more. Their responsibilities encompass crafting engaging posts, producing captivating videos, delving into in-depth analytics, and so much more!

🏆 Certification
The certification team powers certification processes at Schoolhouse—both traditional certifications (recorded Khan Academy tests) and honorary certifications (submitted SAT scores and AP scores). The team’s primary responsibility is to approve or reject flagged certification requests within a time frame and maintain consistent criteria for approval or rejection.

Subworld moderators work collaboratively within their respective subworld to directly impact the thousands of tutors and learners that traverse subworlds monthly. The team’s primary responsibilities include creating & leading community events within a subworld as well as empowering tutors & learners by creating curriculum that the community can leverage.
