Opportunity Naming Preferences
Opportunities can be named differently for different Opportunity Record Types. Please choose from the following options:
Choice #1:
{!Contact Name} {!RecordType.Name} {!CloseDate} {!Campaign.Name}
Example: Thomas Adams Donation 05/3/2021 2021 Annual Campaign
Choice #2:
{!Account.Name} {!Amount} {!CloseDate}
Example: Thomas and Anita Adams $75 05/3/2021
Choice # 3:
{!Contact Name} {!RecordType.Name} {!CloseDate} {!RecurringDonationName}
Example: Thomas Adams Donation 05/3/2021 Thomas Adams $75 Monthly
Custom Choice
You can combine any fields from the Opportunity that you would like. Also there can be different choices for different record type (i.e. Grants vs. Donations)
