Push Notifications Details

Spokn [Admin portal] enables you to send notifications for your employees either now and instant or later as per what you would schedule. Meaning your employees will get a slack notification, as well as pinning that article/ audio at their feed to make it accessible for them anytime from Spokn mobile or web app.

So you have the variety of options to notify them via Slack from:

Slack push functionality is dedicated for sharing the notifications over slack only.

You go to the Segments page → and select the segment you want to push notifications for.

You will find the Slack button below the article card you want to push a notification for.

Then you can select the notification header from existing options [Audio Title, Author, Publisher, Duration or you can even customize your message].

And here you come to the timing either sending the notification now or schedule it for later.

⁠

Then you can select the channel you want to share the notification to or select to send it as Direct Message [DM] for the whole company users individually, or select a DM for a specific segment to send the segment users direct messages individually.

You go to the Library page → and select the article you want to push to your employees.

You will find the Slack button below the article card you want to push a notification for.

And now you can select to either send for All Company, Specific segment or even a specific user.

So if you choose to All Company → you will have the option to either send the notification to any slack channel or as DM for all employees.

Or you can choose a specific segment and select the channel to send the notification or select a DM for that segment to send the segment users direct messages individually.

And finally you can select a specific user to send the notification along with the option to personalize the message with the

@name⁠

functionality to receive the notification with his/ her name.

Then you will find the Slack button below the article card you want to push a notification for.

And now you can select to either send for All Company, Specific segment or even a specific user.

Or you can use the normal mobile push that supports Slack notifications as well

The normal mobile push is the feature that send a push notification to the user’s mobile app, along with the option to share it via slack as well.

You go to the Segments page → and select the segment you want to push notifications for.

You will find the Push button below the article card you want to push a notification for.

Then by default will you find the

Send a Slack push checkbox marked by default [and here you can select the channel where you want to share the notification].
