PRD for Management of Freebie Rules

OBJECTIVES

Goal

To create a solution which allows the website promotion managers to
publish the various types of freebie rules (automated) in the cart
and the customer should be able to view the same.

Functional Requirements

Website Promotions Managers (WPMs from here on) should be able to :
Create
new freebie rule
(s).
View all options
for cart rule creation.
View all the current promotions
available.
View their
past and recent history
.
View
detailed analysis
on all the published offers.
View all
active
and
inactive offers
.
Add
images/videos/files.
Add
all product details.
Enable/disable
offers.
Be able to
customize
new/existing offers.
Send scheduled emails or messages.

Customer should be able to :
View the offers
with the listings/products they choose
on the PDP
. (Product Detail Page).
View the offers
on the
home, category and other relevant pages
.
Add/remove
offers.
View the
effective payment summary
of
product(s)
with
offer(s)
while checking out.
Confirmation of cart and gift/offer when the product is added to cart.
Receive notifications

Non-Functional Requirements

WPMs should be able to :
Experience a
smooth flow while creating a new offer

Be able to easily
find all the options to customize new/existing offers

UX should be
easy to use
and moving between different pages
should be easily accessible

Customize effectively and in line with the company’s policies.

Customer should be able to :
View the freebie(s)
easily, everywhere the same is placed.
seamlessly add/remove

effective payment summary

while checking out.
Confirmation of cart and gift/offer when the product is added to cart.
UX should be effective, minimalistic and all details should be clearly visible and accessible.

Hypothesis

If
a feature that provides the website promotions manager to publish the various types of freebie rules (automated) in the cart
, is introduced,

then
they (WPMs) shall be able to automate freebies to customers adding product(s) to their carts

because
of
increased rate of engagement
with the app, customers will
add more items to cart or/and be happy with the services we provide
, hence
increasing sales & engagement for the website
.
