There are few monsters that stand on the way to success:
Perfectionist Monster
Too much of anything is bad. It is easy to dismiss this one as it falls under constant improvement. Unfortunately, the last leg of a race (sometimes infinite) will slow you down tremendously. Output is reduced and progress is delayed.
Advice Monster
Don’t give advice unless asked, and ensure that you have proper context to give advice. Don’t listen to reply but listen to understand.
People Pleaser Monster
Be ok with saying ‘No’. I read in another article that saying ‘yes’ is saying yes to all of the options that come with a decision. Saying ‘no’ is saying no to just one specific decision.
