Week 9 Reflection

This week in UAS I got the chance to participate in Toyota’s Wind Energy Kite project. Their goal is to use a large kite attached to a generator to use the plentiful wind energy in barren states to generate energy. It works by pulling a line on a generator and using the to-and-fro motion to generate an electrical current.

The kite must have been 5 meters across, and is made of some special lightweight cross-threaded fabric.
