Rootopia is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to become one of the early members of our growing Design team. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you are not only involving creative initiatives that help Rootopia interact with the world through each touchpoint but also cross-functional collaboration with the Marketing team and Growth team to manage the brand consistency and elevate Rootopia’s mission in novel ways.

What you’ll do:

Art direct, conceptualize, and explore novel solutions that pushes the Rootopia brand forward while stay align with business goals

Conceptualize, design, present compelling designs to stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Work with Design team members to define, shape and evolve the brand guideline and design system’s look and feel

Lead a wide range of projects independently, and ensure the consistency of Rootopia brand across surfaces, from social channels, website to events, offline channels.

Collaborate with Marketing team, Growth team and Product Designers to conceptualize communication campaigns, launch announcements to support launching new products and features.

Instruct, delegate tasks and mentoring to junior designers and interns.

What we’d love to hear from you:

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experiences

Strong rationale design, time management, project management, presentation skills

A broad portfolio demonstrates strong strategic and conceptual thinking across a range of disciplines

Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite while competent enough in using collaborative design tools like Figma

Excellence in composition, layout, typography, color, graphic design in general

Passionate in one of the following side expertise such as motion design, photography, or illustration (We’d love it if you have one of the latter two)

Be able to embrace iterative design process while also receptive to feedback

Experience with partnering creative partners such as directors, photographers, motion designers, illustrators

Strong soft skills such as excellent communication, a team player but also a team builder because you can give thoughtful feedback while also building up others’ creative work.

A full-time position but if you are the right candidate, work remotely or starting out as part-time in a month or two is also offered.
