Purpose/Context:

In the role of Security / People Management at the unDavos Summit, your responsibility is to ensure a safe, friendly, and secure environment during specific events, particularly those with higher attendance or during night-time sessions. This role is key in managing crowds and maintaining order, working closely with the registration team.

Responsibilities

Monitor event spaces to prevent and manage crowd crushes.

Collaborate with the registration personnel to ensure orderly and safe attendee flow.

Maintain a visible presence to ensure security and provide assistance as needed.

Implement and oversee safety protocols during high-attendance or night-time events.

Skills Needed

A demeanor that commands respect and attention, ensuring effective crowd management.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact with attendees in a friendly yet authoritative manner.

Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to any security concerns or emergencies.

Good collaboration skills to work effectively with the registration team and other staff.

Hours per Assignment

As this role is primarily for night-time events or specific high-attendance sessions, the hours will vary based on the summit schedule. Expect to be on duty during key events where crowd management is crucial.

Expected Effort

Pre-Davos: Familiarize yourself with the event layout, high-attendance sessions, and emergency protocols.

During Davos: Active involvement in security and people management during assigned hours, particularly night-time events.
