New policy in the grading and registration for MAR (7/4/2025)

There was a meeting between FABE and the Registrar Office this morning, where it was agreed to include a disclaimer in the Master of Architecture transcript:

Minimum passing grade:

The passing grade for all design courses and the design thesis is set at 'B', and

For the rest of the courses, the passing grade is 'C'.

Interview prior enroll to the program:

As per the meeting, it has been agreed to implement a policy requiring students who wish to enroll in the Master of Architecture program to attend an interview prior to their registration.

The Marketing Office is responsible for taking necessary action and put the policy in the marketing brochure.

This should also be documented in the Faculty Handbook as well.

Registration for MArch courses

Effective from the next semester, students aspiring to enroll in the courses within the Master of Architecture program are required to complete their registration through the Head of Program (HOP) and the Academic Executive (AE).

The quota for the courses will be recorded as “0”. The registration will be done manually by HOP, AE and RO.
