On 20th July 2025, two outstanding teams from the Faculty of Engineering, Science & Technology (FEST) and the Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment (FABE), accompanied by Ms. Nik Nuraini Azhari, proudly represented KLUST at the UTAR PROKON Structural Earthquake Stability Interuniversity Competition 9.0 (SE-IX).

We are thrilled to announce that both teams earned Consolation Prizes, securing impressive 4th and 5th places among strong contenders from various institutions.

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Mohd Basir has been elected in the Putrajaya Orchid Showcase 2023 for two different programs, and we are honored as he was appointed as a judge for the Terrarium Competition (Open Category) as well as the main instructor for Terrarium Workshop (2 sessions) to share his knowledge and expertise in the field.

Mr Mohd Basir and IUKL’s BLAR have always been very active in most Landscape Architecture activities organised by various govenment bodies in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Malaysia.
