We are actively raising up a generation of leaders – a radical group of young people set ablaze by the fire of the Holy Ghost with a passion for souls and committed to winning the lost at any cost. Youth and young adults between the ages of 13-19 are encouraged to live by three main principles:
1. Love Passionately: Love God, themselves, and people (Luke 10:27).
2. Grow Deeper: In love with God, His Word, and His power (Ephesians 3:14-20).
3. Encounter Truth: To provide an atmosphere where young people can encounter the life-changing truth of God that sets them free (John 8:31-36, John 14:6)
• Services
Our services are centered on anointed praise and worship, preaching and teaching, salvation, and the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit. Altar calls are included in every service, giving young people the opportunity to receive salvation, baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance, and the joy of the Lord.
As we support and execute the vision of R.M.I. and The River Church, the Lord has graced the River Youth & Young Adult Ministry to become a local and global example of what an “on-fire” youth ministry resembles. Every year, thousands of youth travel from various parts of Florida, the U.S. and the world to be a part of our weekly services, Youth Fire Week, and special events such as “Burn Your Junk Night.”
• Spiritual Growth & Discipleship
Through one-on-one discipleship we help teenagers transition into adulthood knowing their identity in Christ and obtaining His vision and plan for their lives.
Our weekly Project Timothy discipleship offers spiritual and natural preparation for students who will attend River University or a secular college. We teach students how to study the Word of God, hear the voice of God, pray, and prepare sermons. No matter where God calls them, our youth and young adults are equipped to be Godly leaders and successful in every area of their Christian walk.
• Soul-Winning
In January of 2011, we set a goal to see 10,000 decisions for Jesus Christ on local high school and college campuses. Since then, we’ve seen over 72,000 students receive salvation through soul-winning at school assemblies, outreaches, festivals, one-on-one evangelism, weekly services, and over 1,000 teenagers have been baptized!
• Fellowship
We love to build Godly relationships and do so through a host of fun activities including, beach trips, bowling, scavenger hunts, and more.
