The River Pavilion (The Pavilion of Dreams)

The River Pavilion is unlike any other pavilion on the entire U.S. East Coast. Created to enhance our Field of Dreams, our covering is innovatively engineered to withstand torrential weather including rain, lightning, wind, hail, extreme heat, and Florida’s toughest hurricane seasons.

The Structure

The pavilion features: More than 900 braces, 480 stabilizer poles, 480 metal cables equaling nearly 230 tons of steel, over $350K worth of lights, and over 2 acres of Astroturf.
More than 1,400 tons of concrete (About 700 cubic yards or 70 truck-loads worth) was used to lay the foundation 4 ½ft wide, 4 ½ft deep, and 400ft long on both sides with 8 tons of rebar.
The combined materials of the industrial covering weigh over 24,000 lbs. and lowers the temperature under the covering 12-15 degrees. The covering also works as a sound barrier to the adjacent highway.
The Pavilion is 400ft long and can hold up to 11,000 people!
Audiovisuals
The pavilion includes LED blow-through video walls and a 360° sound system. The sound is the largest installation of this type of system in the United States, if not the world. It consists of state-of-the-art front-fill sound and speakers strategically spaced 10feet apart down the sides of the entire pavilion.
This provides high-tech spatial sound ability, enabling the entire audience to enjoy perfect sound no matter where they’re seated. The system also decreases sound bleed beyond the field, and with a dug-out style recessed sound booth, audience members see the front of the pavilion without any visual hindrance.

The Souls

Everything we do at R.M.I. is about souls! The River Pavilion will be used for The Stand services, the Sunday Main Event, The River Car Show, annual conferences, and a host of special productions and events – all geared towards reaching and winning the lost at any cost.

The River Church Sanctuary

The sanctuary (Studio A) is a cutting-edge facility where the Stand services, Sunday Main Events, annual conferences, River University classes, Healing School sessions, and many other ministry events are held. Featuring world-class lighting, audio video technology, and a unique symmetrical design, our sanctuary offers a shared community experience where welcoming the presence of God is our priority.
Development
We are actively building and maintaining our sanctuary in accordance with the vision of the house. In preparation for a great harvest of souls, we are adding 3 balconies to increase our auditorium seating capacity to approximately 2,800 (at the time of this publication). To accommodate the new, 2nd story seating, we are also installing upper-level restrooms.
With collective help from members, students, staff, contractors, and external companies, we are excited to see the completed manifestation of this historical milestone.
Health and Safety
NASA approved air purifiers are used within our sanctuary guaranteeing attendees breathe the safest air possible. Each seat, door handle, and commonly surfaces and items are treated with a natural 90-day disinfectant.
