This file is designed to support you on your journey to mastering hotkeys.
I’ve added recommendations to get you started, but feel free to completely adapt and transform this document to match your own workflow and preferences.
I recommend using a color system to highlight the shortcuts you actively want to integrate. It’s easy to assign a lot of shortcuts while experimenting. But realistically, you’ll want to focus on just 3–4 that truly move the needle. The rest can remain as “nice to have.”
Once those shortcuts begin to stick and feel natural in your muscle memory, mark a few new ones to gradually introduce into your workflow
Personally, I often returned to my “Personal Hotkey Cheatsheet” whenever I got confused about what I assigned and where. You might also consider scheduling a small check-in with yourself to reflect on how your hotkey integration is progressing.
Good luck!
