You can also draw a defect directly on a photo instead of the model.
Click on the desired spot on the model to open the side photo panel Resize the panel if needed Switch to a different photo if the first one isn’t clear Adjust the zoom — to move around the photo, hold the right mouse button and drag Select the Create Defect tool Click on the photo to mark points and draw the defect Assign to the element and chose the defect
When you start drawing, the right panel opens automatically. Here you need to assign defect to the element.
Select the element where the defect is located Note: if you skip this step and close the right panel, defect will be saved as draft.
Measure a Defect
Use the Ruler tool to take three measurements of the crack in different places. We recommend to do measurements on the photo.
Click once on the defect
Move the mouse to place the scale along the crack and click again
Use the scroll wheel to adjust the scale width to match the crack width
Confirm the measurement
Repeat two more times — the system will calculate the average width.
Note: For some types of defects, you don’t need to take measurements.
Severity
Severity is automatically assigned based on the crack-width measurement
Choose Preferred Image
You can do this later, but we recommend doing it right when you create the defect.
