1. Overview

image.png
The interface includes a 3D model scene, a Microsoft Office-style ribbon menu (1), and two side panels: one for display settings (2) and one for navigation (3).
Some useful features will be explained later.

Navigation the model

To navigate the model, you can use your mouse, keyboard, or the bottom toolbar.
The mouse is the most convenient for general use, while the keyboard helps with smoother navigation when marking defects one by one.

Mouse

Rotate – Hold the left mouse button and move the mouse.
Zoom in/out – Use the scroll wheel.
Move the model – Hold the right mouse button and move the mouse.

Keyboard

W / A / S / D – Move forward, left, back, and right
Space – Move up
C – Move down

Bottom toolbar

Zoom In
Zoom Out
Return to the starting view (set during model creation).
Experimental feature. Helps you zoom in without flying through the model. Use it when you’re getting closer to a surface — it will stop the camera at the right spot instead of going through.

Open real photo

When you click on any point of the model with the left mouse button, a panel opens showing real photos used to build the model. This helps you see small details that may not be clear on the 3D model. You can also mark defects directly on the photo (explained later).

Close the photo viewer
Set defect photo (explained later)
Resize the photo panel (make it wider)
Next photo – Each point of the model is built from several photos; you can view them all
Show or hide the infrared layer on top of the photo
Zoom in/out of the photo
Fullscreen – Expand the photo to full screen
