STARTER PRICING (FIRST 90 DAYS – U-HAUL MODEL)

U-Haul Strategy (Critical)

Don’t rent daily unless booked.
Best rentals to start:
10’ box truck
Cargo van (cheapest, best ROI)
Rental cost (avg):
$19.95/day + mileage

Rule: ✔ Only rent after deposit is paid ✔ Book truck early morning → stack jobs same day

Pricing (Simple & Profitable)

Base pricing model:
Pickup + delivery (local): $120–$180
Store runs: $150 flat
Extra items: +$30–$50
Stairs: +$25 per flight
Waiting time: $30/hr
Never quote hourly early. Flat rates = less arguing.

BASE SERVICE PRICING (STARTUP FRIENDLY)

Minimum Removal Fee

$99 – $149 Covers:
Small pickups
Single item or light load
Fuel + basic labor

Local Pickup + Delivery (Moving / Logistics)

Loading
Transport
Unload
1–2 items
Extra items added separately.

Store Runs (IKEA, Facebook Marketplace, etc.)

$150 flat
$30 per additional item

JUNK REMOVAL — LOAD-BASED (SIMPLE)

Load Sizes (U-Haul Adjusted)

¼ Load: $150 – $180 ​½ Load: $250 – $300 ​¾ Load: $325 – $375 ​Full Load: $400 – $500
Pricing depends on material type (see below)

MATERIAL ADJUSTMENTS

Household junk → base price
Construction debris → +$50–$100
Heavy materials (concrete, dirt, tile) → +$50 per ¼ load
Mattresses / appliances → +$25–$50 each

PER SQ FT OPTION (FOR ESTIMATES)

$30 – $45 per sq ft

ADD-ON FEES (CLEAR & DEFENSIBLE)

Stairs: $25 per flight
Extra items: $30–$50 each
Waiting time: $30/hr
Bagging: $50 per 10 bags
