Responsibilities

Analyzing and understanding the Product end-to-end and writing test cases
Identifying and automating the processes to monitor and measure the product quality
Creating alerts to get notified when product performance degrades
Define and establish automation strategy and process
Manage and communicate regular updates on product status (e.g., work completed, work in progress, next steps, risks, quality, and KPIs)
Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing
Work with engineers to resolve defects and issues
Design, create, modify and execute test plans and tests for software validation at both system and user level
The document, investigate, and communicate defects discovered during test execution
Personal skills
Excellent communication as well as documentation skills
Ability to work in a team or independently and contribute to the collaborative efforts of the team
Empathy with customers

Essential Skills / Experience

Required

Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in Automation Testing
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think out of the box
Experience with Core Java, Karate, JMeter, and Gatling
Experience with relational databases
Expertise in REST API automation
Knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques including the software development lifecycle
Experience in building test automation solution, automated internal frameworks, monitor system, or improving testing effectiveness

Preferred

Experience in creating Grafana dashboards
Exposure to Prometheus, New Relic, Swagger
