Hashtags

Hashtags are just words preceded with the # symbol.

For example, programmers put #TODO in their code so they can SEARCH for that phrase to find their to do items.

In my Door Knocking records in Word, I note specific records as #sellingin2023 for example - think about generating a Table of Contents in MS WORD.

What are hashtags and how and why do I use hashtags in Social Media?

To use a hashtag on social media, simply include the "#" symbol followed by the keyword or phrase you want to use as the hashtag in your post or comment. For example, if you are posting about a recent vacation to Hawaii, you might include hashtags like "#hawaii" or "#vacation" in your post to help others who are interested in these topics find your content.
There are many different ways to use hashtags on social media, including to join conversations about a particular topic, to promote a product or event, or to share content related to a specific theme or cause. Using hashtags can help you reach a larger audience and increase the visibility of your content online.
It's important to keep in mind that hashtags should be relevant to the content you are posting and should be used sparingly. Using too many hashtags or using hashtags that are unrelated to your content can make your post appear spammy and may discourage people from engaging with it.

In KVCore, you can use hashtags to categorize and organize your contacts, listings, and tasks.

To use a hashtag, simply type the "#" symbol followed by the keyword or phrase you want to use as the hashtag.

For example, if you want to create a hashtag for a new listing that you have just added to KVCore, you could type "#newlisting" as the hashtag.

You can then use this hashtag to filter your contacts, listings, and tasks by clicking on the hashtag in the sidebar. This will show you all the contacts, listings, and tasks that have been tagged with that hashtag.

You can also create custom fields in KVCore and use them as hashtags to store and organize additional information about your contacts, listings, and tasks. To create a custom field, go to the "Contacts" tab, click on the "Custom Fields" button, and follow the prompts to create your new custom field. Once you have created a custom field, you can use it as a hashtag by typing the "#" symbol followed by the name of the custom field.
