In today’s highly competitive technology industry, understanding customer behavior is crucial to driving business success. Nvidia, a leader in producing graphics processing units (GPUs) and AI technology, serves a diverse customer base, ranging from individual consumers to large corporations. Each group has distinct purchasing patterns, satisfaction levels, and tendencies to make repeat purchases. By using Tableau for analysis, we aim to uncover insights into customer trends and behaviors. This analysis will help Nvidia plan effective marketing campaigns, improve customer service, and enhance future product development, supporting sustainable growth in both retail and corporate markets.

Data Preparing and Data Cleaning

Download the Nvidia Customer Market dataset from Kaggle:
Next, remove the null values from Product Category and Product Name by applying a filter in the Data Source page. After that, apply a filter for the Year column to only display data from 2020(Jan.-Dec.) to 2024(Jan-Oct.).

Sales by Product Category
The chart compares sales revenue (in USD) across four product categories. From the chart, The AI and Data Center categories lead in sales, both exceeding 1.5 billion. Gaming and OEM follow closely, with sales just above 1.4 billion.
Sales by Region
The chart shows the total sales revenue in USD for various regions. From the chart, Europe has the highest sales revenue of 1,022,598,184 USD. South America, Middle East, and Africa all have slightly lower but similar sales revenues around 1,017M - 1,011M USD. APAC has 976,394,435 USD, which is lower compared to other regions but still close to 1 billion USD. North America has the lowest sales revenue at 967,705,046 USD, slightly less than APAC.

Sales Revenue and Return Rate
