Learningpod

Platform• UX & UI Design • 2015
Learningpod was an open education platform that aims to provide educators, students, and developers with a robust library of content. Using the web app, content authors can effortlessly add and author content, which can be consumed for free by teachers and students. This product follows an API-first approach, with the home-brew API enabling developers to build apps quickly and seamlessly serve the content from Learningpod.

Outcome

Gained good tractions from the high school cohorts. We received warm notes from our users when we announced our service termination.
Partnered with a few big open source players, such as Microsoft and OpenStax to develop free educational apps for students.

During my time at Learningpod, I worked as a key member of an 11-employee startup, which included the CEO. I collaborated with the CEO to guide and lead the team towards developing and building the product. As part of the design team of two, I played a crucial role in creating all the app designs and marketing materials for the company.
