JavaScript +

After 'learning' core Java within the first months of our 2021 course we had a week to look at JavaScript and complete a number of projects linked to it. I learned what I needed to in order to pass the end of module projects. I only really scraped the surface.
At the end of 2021 all of that changed, I had the prospect of a role as a junior NetSuite developer. I would be beginning in early 2022 so I took a much deeper dive into JavaScript. I would be using Vanilla JavaScript and the SuiteScript 2.0 API to connect to NetSuite Data, making it available in Mendix applications.
The promised offer never materialised, but I got to know JavaScript far better in the time I took to study it, and liked it far more than I did during my Java course. It had always seemed a little ‘Wild-West’ to me, but I grew to see how versatile it was. I grew into quite enjoying the freedom of coding in JavaScript.

JavaScript+ Timeline
Transferred from my Gitlab, without commit history. Motivated by the prospect of a job where I’d be using JS all of the time I dove into this course and wrote a detailed commit history for ease of reference. (Not shown on this public version).
The third project week of the course, my JS knowledge limited, I concentrated on fetching data.
A minor code experiment
Sandwich animation idea of mine for class website using some css tricks. Also first time merging online with gitlab.
Looking at part of course that interested me at the time. For the record I have two well regarded CSS/HTML courses waiting in my Udemy account, but they are not a priority for me at the moment.
