GA Cleanup for D2C

1. General Sanity: Comparison of GA outputs against Shopify for sessions, visitors, views and engagement metrics: with the goal of identifying what we can trust, what we can fix, and what is unusable
2. Event Cleanup: Utilize recommended events from GA instead of custom events, and
3. Event Tracking Plan and best practice guidelines: Fully detailed tracking plan for adding custom parameters and user properties for GA events (includes audit of existing params and addition of params and properties for better tracking, QA)
4. Fixes and Final Summary: A funnel analysis / journey analysis that shows the flow of events from landing -> checkout, mainly with an intent to build confidence and understand limitations of GA tracking.
After the project, we will be able to use GA data with confidence for analysis (through BigQuery).
Timelines and outputs:
- Week 1: A summary with comparison of GA data against Shopify, Gokwik, etc.; list of identified issues and limitations
- Week 2: A report comparing custom events with recommended events with list of identified issues, solutions, and events to be removed (or ignored for now)
- Week 3: A detailed tracking plan (in a spreadsheet) with best practises for tracking
- 2 weeks after final fixes are implemented: Funnel analysis to form baselines of various flows
