Step-by-step Guide to Canvas Cells with Auto-Filtering

Mike_Ray posted a great tutorial on the Coda community, be sure to check it out
. In it, Mike_Ray described how to set not just one Canvas Template (as outlined here ), but rather multiple Canvas Templates. Mike_Ray used the real-world example of different departments requiring different Meeting Notes Templates.
I have thus build upon Mike_Ray’s contribution and incorporated his approach into this doc.

Please note that each template references to the “All Tasks” table. In the Meeting notes for any particular meeting, these tasks will then be filtered by Department. The views, however, remain connected, in order to ensure that all changes captured during the meeting will show up in the Master Tasks table.
Enjoy!
