Problem Alignment

Presentation format does not feel integrated, elements of the design feel segregated without the ability to asses simultaneously
Increased interactivity required
Model data is not used to its potential
Presentation requires greater consistency

Solution Alignment

Provide a presentation methodology to provide simultaneous review of design aesthetic, performance and metrics
Provide ability to review live implications on metrics based on design options
Produce enriched data models, leverage this data and present in consistent and easily digestible format
Increase ability to make quick informed decisions
Used by all framework lead designers and usable by their project teams without the need for specialist technology teams
Create a consistent output for all lead designers
Key data to be presented; Cost metrics, Workplace metrics, Sustainability performance, Product information
Solution should improve efficiency and quality without incurring additional time

Deliverables

N.B. Guidance documentation noted below will be compiled into a single document

1. Product BIM Library [SM]

Methodology and tools required to enable BOQ information to be generated from the BIM model.
Produce initial Revit object library based on Project Eames content (where content is available from manufacturers)
Content to be hosted on agreed CDE platform
Determine model requirements to produce
Guidance document to explain methodology

2. Design Aesthetic Visualisation [SM]

Methodology and tools required to enable design aesthetic to be presented in format to meet identified solution alignment above
Guide document to explain methodology

3. Cost Plan [BOQ] Visualisation [SM]

Methodology and tools/ platform required to provide BOQ information
Determine methodology/ platform for BOQ generation
Guide document to explain methodology

4. DB2 Presentation Methodology [SM]

Methodology for utilising these deliverables and integrating into presentation
Guide document to explain methodology
Identify changes

5. DB2 Presentation Restructure Proposal [JC]

Revised deck structure guide
Example document using test/ pilot project
