System Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance is required to ensure the system remains secure, stable, and performant.

Operating System: Apply all security patches and updates to Ubuntu at least weekly.

Docker Engine: Keep the Docker Engine updated to the latest stable release to ensure security and compatibility.

FDP Application: Regularly check for and apply updates (where necessary) to the FDP application itself, following the specific update procedures provided by the Technical Team Senior Data Stewards.

Monitoring: Implement basic system monitoring to track resource usage (CPU, RAM, disk space) and log FDP service status. Additional tool may be used such as Uptime Robot to check the VM’s up time
