The Case Study

For our class case study we will use a relatively simple case that any one who drives a car may face.
Brad is on his way home from work and drops by to pick up a prescription for his five-year-old daughter, Carole, who has been ill for the last week. Deborah, Brad’s partner and the mother of Carole, has been working from home since Carole fell ill and took her to the urgent care this afternoon after Carole’s temperature suddenly rose and her coughing became worse. Deborah called Brad at work on her way home from the doctor’s office and asked him to pick up the prescription. Carole needed to take it on an empty stomach so he needed to make sure to get home well before dinner at 5:30 p.m.
While the prescription was ready for pickup, the line at the checkout was especially long and he wasn’t able to leave the store until 5:15. Fortunately the store was just 5 minutes away from their house so he would make it before dinner.
As he was pulling out of a very tight space in the store parking lot, he dented the car next to him. After looking around, he decided that no one had seen him and that he was not within view of the security cameras.
What should Brad do?
