Begin by listing out in complete sentences (subject and verb) the facts of the case. It is okay if it seems like you are just copying from the case study itself. Your task here is to identify what the relevant facts are. For example, a case study might identify the driver and their vehicle in the following manner:
Officer Jackson was driving a police car, 13-year old Rudy was driving a red station wagon, and 32-year-old Janet was driving her sister’s SUV.

Depending on the case study itself some facts will be more important or relevant than others. For example, the age of the drivers or the types of vehicles may not be relevant in many cases, but in this case the fact that one driver is underage and one vehicle is a police car may be of significance.
