About Navajo Power Home

Navajo Power Home is a solar service provider for off-grid homes on the Navajo Nation. Our purpose is for all families to have power. Navajo Power Home's off-grid solar services are designed with precision and quality to meet the needs of Navajo households. Customers contract one of four different Navajo Power Home Plans depending on their energy needs. Plans have a fixed monthly fee and include installation, in-home consultations, lifetime maintenance, and free upgrades between Plans.

Project Scope

NPH is seeking a developer to build a custom flow PayPal web app. NPH customers make their bill payments via PayPal. Customers can make as many payments as they want on a recurring basis— i.e. if a customer’s monthly rate is $100, they can pay $3.33 every day, $50 every two weeks, $300 every three months, etc. (any amount / any frequency).
Each time a customer makes a payment, they receive a unique Activation Code. This Activation Code is used to “activate” the credit they just purchased in their in-home meter. (This code is entered manually because there is not sufficient connectivity in our customers’ homes to do this remotely.)
NPH needs to integrate PayPal with our software provider, Angaza Design. Angaza Design is the entity that generates the unique Activation Code with each payment. Upon making a bill payment via PayPal, customers need to receive a unique Activation Code from Angaza Design on the PayPal confirmation page (and then subsequently via the PayPal confirmation email).
We seek to offer two options for the customer to initiate their payment process:
Customer initiates PayPal payment process on the Navajo Power Home WEBSITE (using their Account Number [and/or email]). (Our website is currently hosted on Wix).
Customer initiates PayPal payment process from their Navajo Power Home PayPal-generated bill sent to their email (using Account Number [and/or email])
The developer needs to build the Angaza - PayPal integration and forward the payments via the Angaza Connects API. We will provide Angaza Connects API documentation so that developer can identify relevant endpoints. Developer will also be able to work closely with the Angaza developer team.
The developer must build a custom portal / web app that will host the PayPal payment form, then forward the payment details to Angaza to generate the Activation Code for the customer. In both flows, customer must receive the unique Activation Code on the confirmation screen + subsequently via the PayPal confirmation email.
