Welcome Letters from Youth Leaders

Dear young men and parents,
We are looking forward to another amazing young men’s camp! This year’s theme is “Walk With Me.” Elder Bednar said: “If we abide in Him, He will abide in us. And as we walk in and with Him, we will be blessed to bring forth much fruit.” At camp this year, our goal is to bring the young men closer to Christ through new friendships, experiences, and sharing our testimonies. As we spend this week together we encourage you to come spiritually and physically prepared to work together to build each others’ testimonies. Thank you for your support in helping make Young Men’s Camp a meaningful and uplifting experience for everyone. We look forward to a great camp! -Shepherd Robinson — AP Camp Director

Dear Fellow Young Man,
We are so excited for this year’s Young Men’s camp! Your Stake Young Men’s leaders and Priests have put a lot of time and effort into ensuring you have a fun and spiritual experience. The theme for this year is the youth theme: “Walk With Me.” At camp, we hope you not only grow your connection with your fellow young men through fun activities but, most importantly, grow your connection with your Savior, Jesus Christ.
Elder David A. Bednar taught: “Jesus beckons to each of us, ‘Come, follow me’ and ‘walk with me.’ I testify that as we press forward in faith and walk in the meekness of the Lord’s Spirit, we are blessed with power, guidance, protection, and peace… I emphasize the absolute comprehensiveness of the Savior’s plea. He yearns to bless with His grace and mercy every single person who now lives, who has ever lived, and who will yet live upon the earth… I promise that by the power of the Holy Ghost, you can know and feel the gospel truths I have attempted to describe are for you—for you individually and personally. I joyfully witness that Jesus Christ is our loving and living Savior and Redeemer. If we abide in Him, He will abide in us. And as we walk in and with Him, we will be blessed to bring forth much fruit.”
As you prepare for this summer—and pray for no rain—I encourage you to study what it means to abide in our Savior so He can abide with you. I promise we will have a great time! I am personally excited for this year’s camp and can’t wait to see you all there.
