Welcome Letter

Dear Aaronic Priesthood Holder,

As a Stake Young Men Presidency, we welcome you to Aaronic Priesthood Camp 2025. The theme for camp is The Covenant Path. President Nelson taught, “Your commitment to follow the Savior by making covenants with Him and then keeping these covenants will open the door to every spiritual blessing and privilege available to men, women, and children everywhere… The ordinances of the temple and the covenants you make there are key to strengthening your life, your marriage and family, and your ability to resist the attacks of the adversary. Your worship in the temple and your service there for your ancestors will bless you with increased personal revelation and peace and will fortify your commitment to stay on the covenant path” Over the next couple of months, we would like you to take time and read about the covenant path and how Christ makes it possible. We know that as you prepare to attend camp, the Lord will speak to you in his own individualized way.

Camp will be held June 16th - June 20th at Lake James. One of our goals for the camp is to help you learn to feel and recognize the spirit on a continual basis, and to help you develop a stronger relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. We hope you feel that individually and as a group. We hope that enduring friendships are developed that

You are a special son of Heavenly Father and have great potential within you. We encourage you to prepare yourself to feel the influence of the Holy Ghost at camp. We promise that if you put forth the effort to prepare yourself spiritually, you will feel our Savior’s love at camp and deepen your testimony. We plan on doing activities that stretch you physically, spiritually, socially, and intellectually. (Oh and FOOD!! We eat at Young Mens Camp. Brother Draughn and Brother Acosta know how to cook! Ask those who went last year. Come HUNGRY!)

Doctrine and Covenants 84: 38 says, “And he that receiveth my Father receiveth my Father’s kingdom; therefore all that my Father hath shall be given unto him.” Brethren, ultimately the Lord wants to give us everything he has. He stands ready and waiting to give us blessing beyond our comprehension. The covenant path will lead us to that ultimate destination.
