This feature enables you to export every Figma document located in your Figma account to the local storage.

Pre-requisition

You need to have Figma account on .
You need the have active Figma API token.

How to create Figma API token

Go to your account on , click on your profile picture on the left side, and select "Settings":

A popup window will open, then you need to scroll down and click on "Generate new token":

The last step is to generate a new token with these properties:

How to get Figma File ID

Go to via web browser and open your already created File which you want to export to the local storage.

How to export Figma File to JSON

Run your desktop Figma application, open any Figma file, and run DesignKit plugin. Go to "Export" tab, select Figma sub-tab, enter File ID and your generated token, and click on EXPORT button.

In a while, your Figma remote file will be exported to a JSON file on your local storage.
If you want to import the exported file, you can use feature.
