Three things you can do with AI that can immediately help you be better at your job:
WRITING — ChatGPT and Google Gemini are exceptional partners at helping you write better. Use AI not to write for you, but to take text you’ve written and improve it.
EXAMPLES USES OF AI IN WRITING: Use AI to improve your Coda Documentation, Slide Presentations, Google Docs, Emails, Code comments, etc.
TRANSLATION: Although we use English as our common language, for some it may not be easy to write in English. Use AI translation (not Google Translate) to write in your native language and use AI for an English translation.
PROMPT: Write this better: "In order to support our broader department goals, CreativeTech will be focused on a single achievable goal: Radical Reliability. Radical Reliability focuses on delivering better, consistent output to the multitude of teams that rely on CreativeTech everyday by improving our internal processes and technical infrastructure."
DATA ANALYSIS — Use AI to analyze datasets that we may receive on a daily basis.
EXAMPLES USES OF AI IN DATA ANALYSIS: Use AI to understand Event Tracking Data, Search Stats, Jira Usasge, etc.
PROMPT: This spreadsheet contains a list of ad types (creative_template_name) displayed on various properties (prop). You can also see the clickthrough rate (ctr) and impressions and clicks for each. Do you see any negative ctr trends that have occurred in the past year?

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
CO-PILIOT — Use your access to Co-Pilot to improve your software and software development skills.
ASK CO-PILOT FOR ADVICE: Co-Pilot is conversational. Use it to discuss what you’re trying to do and the best practices for doing so.
PROMPT: what does this code do and how does it work
PROMPT: what would make this code better?
PROMPT: is there anything that's obviously wrong with this code?
PROMPT: What is the best practice for docblcks for a file like this?
DEVELOPMENT/CODING — Co-Pilot will perform completions on your code or outright write functions.
Be careful, you're still responsible for bad code and ensuring it works well. I don’t believe you can rely on AI (yet) for full development. You still need to babysit it’s output.
PROMPT: // write a basic js function called slugify that accepts a single string parameter and returns a slug
