Uploading to Scoop

Scoop will accept any zip folder containing an index.html file.

You can either use the IMPORT ZIP button at the bottom, or drag and drop your entire folder into the Interactive Editor.

Scoop will automatically translate any relative links in the index file into absolute links hosted on a static NYT server. It’s important to note that this is often where things can go wrong.

What to do if something is going wrong during upload

In order to fix your upload, check that all links in your index.html file do not start with a /. For example, an <img> should have its source read as images/example.png rather than /images/example.png. The same should apply for any links in your CSS.

If your zip folder is not uploading to Scoop at all, be sure that your zipped folder was created correctly.

When creating your compressed folder, you should select all of the individual files within your dist folder and compress, rather than compressing the dist folder itself.
